It just takes a minute or two to register, and then you're all set to take the lead and run your own event during the month of February for the RSPCA campaign Paws for a Cause.

Just follow these 9 easy steps!

  1. REGISTER online here and we will send you a registration pack to get started!!!!

  2. Decide on the type of event that you want to hold. Think BIG and be CREATIVE!!! Click here for some fundraising ideas!

  3. Put on your thinking cap to create additional ways to raise funds for the RSPCA animals. This might be a raffle with prizes donated from your local shopping centre or charging a participation fee in your event. Need a little extra help? Contact the Paws for a Cause Coordinator on (08) 9209 9340 or via email p4c@rspcawa.asn.au

  4. TELL EVERYONE!!!! Colleagues, family, friends and use your social networks to get your event out there, Facebook, Twitter etc.

  5. Promote your event using our Paws for a Cause posters. Simply download them by clicking here or contact the Paws for a Cause Coordinator on (08) 9209 9340.

  6. Personalise your online fundraising page at EveryDay Hero. Firstly, register your event at the Paws for a Cause website, then a quick and easy way to build your own personal fundraising page is to log on to www.everydayhero.com It only takes a few minutes to build and email to all of your contacts to support you and let them know about your event.

  7. Collect donations during your event. This can be done in cash or online through our Everyday Hero website. Remember to collect everyone's name on the donation slip provided in your pack so we can issue tax deductible receipts.

  8. Send in all the money you have raised and let us know how your event went, we would love to see photos and hear stories to inspire ideas for Paws for a Cause in 2011!!!
